The Seehotel Frankenhorst is beautifully situated between lakes and fields, surrounded by small villages. Between Lake Ziegelsee and Lake Schweriner See, there is a particularly beautiful opportunity to explore the area on a run.
The Schweriner Seeufer running route
From the hotel grounds, take the access road towards Paulsdammer Weg. Cross
this road and turn left until you reach the sign for Wickendorf. Before the sign, there is a nature trail on the right along the lake.
After about 1 km, follow the stone path on the left through a small residential area.
At the end of the path, turn right onto Eschenweg and run to Seestraße (about 300 m).
Then turn right down to the campsite. At the entrance, at the end of the road, keep left.
At the campsite, continue straight ahead along the lake until you reach the turning point. To the left of the pointed houses is a small passageway that leads to the nature trail along the lake. You can continue
along this path for as long as you like. For a change, you can take the road back.
