Jogging track

The Seehotel Frankenhorst is beautifully situated between lakes and fields, surrounded by small villages. Between Lake Ziegelsee and Lake Schwerin, there is a particularly beautiful opportunity to explore the area on a running circuit.

Running route Schweriner Seeufer

From the hotel grounds, take the access road towards Paulsdammer Weg.
Cross the road and run to the left until you reach the sign for Wickendorf. Before the sign, there is a nature trail along the lake on the right.
After about 1 km, follow Steinweg on the left through a small residential neighbourhood.
At the end of the path, turn right into Eschenweg and walk to Seestraße (approx. 300 m).
Then turn right down to the campsite. At the entrance, at the end of the road, keep left.
At the campsite, continue straight ahead along the lake until you reach the hairpin bend. To the left of the Spitz houses is a small passage that leads to the nature trail along the lake.
You can continue along this path as long as you like. For a change, you can return via the road.

Lighting
There is no extra lighting on the nature trails, but there are street lamps in populated areas.
